5. Denise Nestor
Denise Nestor is an illustrator and artist originally from Mayo in the west of Ireland. Her works are very sensitive, personal and compelling and have a beautiful naturalness. Her portfolio is just like her illustrations simple but appealing. We enjoy the mix of faces, facial structures, animals and a mixture of all three things as a way to describe her characters. Denise has been living and working in Dublin for nearly ten years. She graduated in 2004 from Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology and has been working in Dublin ever since.

1. Holly Andres
Holly Andres uses photography to examine the complexities of childhood, the fleeting nature of memory, and female introspection. Typically her images rely on a tension between an apparently approachable subject matter and a darker, sometimes disturbing subtext. She has had solo exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, Istanbul, Turkey and Portland Oregon where she lives and works. Her work has been featured in The New York Times Magazine, Time, Art in America, Artforum, Exit Magazine, Art News, Modern Painters, Oprah Magazine, Elle Magazine, The LA Times, Blink and Art Ltd. – which profiled her as one of 15 emerging West Coast artists under the age of 35.

1. Bryan Schutmaat
This project combines portraits, landscapes, and still lifes in a series of photos that explores the lives of working people residing in small mountain towns and mining communities in the American West. Equipped with a large format view camera, and inspired by the poetry of Richard Hugo, I’ve aimed to hint at narratives and relay the experiences of strangers met in settings that spur my own emotions. Ultimately, this body of work is a meditation on small town life, the landscape, and more importantly, the inner landscapes of common men.

6. Cleo Sullivan
Cleo Sullivan's first photographs were taken of her pony Magic somewhere near the age of 8. Inspired by her mother and grandmother who were both artists, Cleo attended Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts where she graduated with a degree in painting. By the age of 24, she was shooting professionally, living and working in both Milan and Paris. Her photographs draw inspiration from her early childhood, they are fanciful and convey a quirky and unique sense of humor. Cleo's work was first shown publicly at a group exposition at the Louvre in 1996. Her photographs have since been shown at the Kodak-sponsored exhibition in Arles, and at the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, as part of Minds of the Mode at the International Fashion Festival in Japan and as well as in several group shows in New York. Her whimsical sensibility has since translated perfectly into the world of moving imagery, where she has been directing clever advertisements for clients including Dessange, Mac, Rembrandt, and Mikli. She currently resides in New York with her boyfriend, her two gorgeous sons Rohm and Haven and her Italian Greyhound, Nudie.

2. Sten Lex
Sten Lex is a duo of artists from Rome and Taranto in Italy. Both born in 1982, they work together since 2000. Considered as the pioneers of urban stencil in Italy, their work is mostly the product of individual pathways. Mixture of stencil and op art, Sten Lex’s monumental works are made from thousands of strips of paper and compose portraits of people that both artists have themselves photographed, found among family albums or that are merely anonymous people.
In a statement about their work Sten Lex share about their influences. “Impressionism was mainly characterised by the contrasts between the lights and shades that would fix the painter's feelings on the canvas. And, painting en plein air was particularly important to the impressionists. We were certainly influenced by the impressionist movement, but our main influences from a stylistic standpoint are the silk-screen printing and the pixel-based printing. Thanks to the software, we have been able to create some works we could not have done in any other way. In the past, we used to transform digital graphics in paintings by means of the stencils, but now we start from drawings and sketches and we try to make them similar to their original technique, only with more impulsiveness and by trying to erase any digital remainder.”
In 2008, Sten Lex showed at the Banksy Cans Festival bringing together 39 international artists including Prism, Blek Le Rat, Faile, Vhils, Vexta. It was in 2009 that Sten Lex have developed their technique combining collage, stencil and op art, creating unique works both poetic and powerful. In 2012, the Italian publishing house Drago published a complete monography about their work.
