Elle Muliarchyk was born in Belarus, grew up in Vietnam and the Czech republic. Her father was a diplomat and her mother a journalist and linguist. Elle's introduction to fashion came at an early age with a brief stint as a model discovered by the legendary fashion photographer Patrick Demachelier giving her a unique insight into the intricate workings of the industry.
Elle's curiosity, creativity and daring nature inspired her to pick up a camera and start taking pictures and directing films of her own. Her unique eye driven by subjects as diverse as the church, performance art and classic noir filmmaking have enabled Elle to emerge as an exciting talent to watch straddling the fine line between filmmaker, fashion photographer and artist. Elle's work has been featured in Pop, Italian Vogue and the New York Times. She currently contributes to Art Magazine Garage, The New York Times, V Magazine, V Man and W Magazine.
