2. UNKLE: Heaven Music Video
Before submerging himself in the live-action adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are, director Spike Jonze, along with Ty Evans, released Fully Flared, a skateboarding documentary. Featuring the Lakai skate team, Jonze was able to incorporate the unforgiving factor of pyrotechnic in the already volatile elements of skateboarding. Now re-edited against the ethereal music of James Lavelle & Pablo Clements of UNKLE, music video Heaven reflects few of the highlights from Fully Flared, as well as the unexpected plot twist towards the end, a signature in UNKLE’s music videos.
